TalentView Hosts Employer Branding Summit Asia 2019

HR and marketing leaders take employer branding to the next level through authentic communications and experiences

MAKATI, PHILIPPINES - The third installment of Employer Branding Summit Asia hailed tremendous success converging hundreds of HR leaders, marketing experts, data storytellers, and HR technologists from all over the ASEAN region.

The 2-day summit saw best-of-class presentations full of thought-provoking content, real-life case studies from top brands, and global practices on how to inspire authentic communication and create winning workplace experiences with the right mix of online strategies.

According to TalentView CEO, Anj Vera, speakers this year were all talking about activation and strategy. “The summit showcased how employer branding concepts can be brought to life; really focused on programs that drive talent attraction, engagement and retention. The speakers’ employer brand stories are proof that if you go out there with the courage to experiment, then you can drive connection with both your leaders and target talent while overcoming the barriers that are typical of new HR initiatives.”

In an ocean of never-ending information, Simon Kemp, CEO of Kepios said, "When it comes to social, whether it's channels or content, fewer, bigger, better is the surest way to maximize the return on your investment."

One of the delegates, Corinne Marte, Assistant Vice President of HROD at Watsons Philippines commended the summit organizers. She said, “Very informative sessions. Very straightforward build up of topics covering the 3 changes that shape the future of work and how organizations manage this to connect with employer branding. Thank you TalentView! Above all the metrics and well-planned strategies, it’s the people that truly drive value to a business. Understand the people and the tactics to push, then employer brand will naturally flow out.”

The event was held on May 28-29, 2019 at the Fairmont Hotel in Makati City—one of the Philippines' most vibrant central business districts.

Establishing Your Talent Brand Success with the Right Metrics

The engaging panel discussion on "Next Level Analytics: Establishing your talent brand success through the right metrics” talked about best practices on what metrics to track to support business and the entire talent lifecycle.

According to Michelle Garcia, TaskUs Vice President of People, “One thing that I always try to remind myself is I’m HR and ‘H’ stands for ‘human’. It’s very important for us, regardless of the metrics being used, to listen to what people are saying. Because at the end of the day, it’s still what they feel, think, and see that matter the most.”

The panel discussion ended with the 'question and answer' portion with speakers sharing strategies on how to use data analytics to be a true partner of the business.
